Must have strong interest in mental health, psychiatric care for the geriatric population. Established patient base, Psychiatrist will provide supervision and will work along side of the Psychotherapy team.
Provide evaluations, psychiatric management and mental healthcare services to the Geriatric community in a nursing home and assisted living setting.
The multi-disciplinary team realizes that older adults have special physical, emotional, and social needs. Understanding this, the geriatric psychiatrist, with a team of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and psychotherapists (LCSW, LPC, PhD/PsyD), takes a comprehensive approach to diagnosis and treatment.
