Unique facility is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Speech Language Pathologist to join the team. Therapist will treat an adult population with intellectual and physical disabilities. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.
Additional Requirements/Information:
- Candidates must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a SLP and/or registered as a SLP per state
Speech/language pathologists work with patients who are suffering from, or are prone to, disorders related to speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. In order to address patientsâ needs, the speech/language pathologist develops individualized plans that take into account the patientâs needs, progress, and eventual discharge plans. They may also work in a number of spec! ialties, including:
Acute
Home health
Long-term care
Outpatient
Pediatric
Psychiatry
Rehabilitation
School
Required Qualifications
MUST HAVE AAC and Comprehensive Assessment experience. Acute, Rehab and SNF exp preferred.
