Community Medicine Associates, Inc. (CMA) is a progressive, patient-centered, not-for-profit physician-l! ed organization sponsored by University Health System, presently staffing fifteen outpatient community health centers and six acute/urgent care clinics in San Antonio, Texas. CMA provides a wide range of ambulatory facility medical services including: primary, urgent/acute, preventative care and care by multiple specialties including, but not limited to, women and children’s health, prenatal care, geriatrics, endocrinology, neurology and behavioral health. CMA serves the community regardless of an individual’s ability to pay. We are presently seeking a well-qualified Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our Integrated Behavioral Health! Treatment Program as part of the Patient-Centered Medical Hom! e. This position includes c onducting psychosocial assessments and providing therapy for individuals, families, and groups, and close collaboration with all health team members to develop and implement treatment plans, and patient education. Our team, including psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed clinical social workers (therapists) and licensed chemical dependency counselors provides care side-by-side with the primary care practitioners. This position is located at the Robert B Green Campus in the heart of downtown San Antonio. The position emphasizes working primarily with adults.
