The purpose of this position is to promote Promises in community service areas through marketing the entire spectrum of Promisesâ services by direct personal contact with existing and potential referral sources while providing services in support of referrals.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
Generate monthly admissions through new and existing referral sources.
Develop new key contacts (treatment centers, therapists, psychiatrists, attorneys, interventionists, etc).
Nurture established key contacts (treatment centers, therapists, ! psychiatrists, attorneys, interventionists, etc).
Update e! xisting contacts in database with newly acquired information.
Review daily admissions inquiries/admits for referrals in and referrals out.
Submit weekly report to VP of Business Development (including admissions generated, new contacts status, existing contacts status, key meetings (with whom and where), and highlights of the week) by weekly deadline.
Submit schedule of upcoming week by prior week deadline.
Work with VP in developing and implementing an overall regional marketing strategy to coincide with the overall marketing plan.
Meet regularly with current referral sources providing updated information regarding current programs and services.
Plan and deliver, with the assistance from the marketing team, 2 approved CEU events per year.
Represent Promises Austin (and TRS) in a professional manner at conferences.
Coordinate and host referral source visitors to Promises Austin.
Participates in alumni and referral source events pertinent ! to the facility.
Maintains knowledge of internal programs and direct communication with all staff as it relates to patient care and services.
Makes cold calls weekly with hits being entered into the database in a timely manner.
Attends marketing meetings.
Develops understanding of Promises Austin services, program specifics and utilization, and indications for using Promises Austin services and competent understanding of substance abuse, addictive disorders, and trends in substance abuse treatment both locally and nationally.
Promotes and Markets Promises Austin to all referrals sources through face to face contacts within the defined geographic target areas. Determines customer needs with regard to services. Implements plans and programs to meet customer needs and increase awareness of services to maximize utilization.
Contact all primary accounts through personal visits, telephone calls, and letters/mailers on an ongoing basis, developing and ! encouraging a relationship of trust with all active referral sources, w! hile cultivating new business.
8-10 face to faces per week; 20 warm or cold calls.
Submit any required reports and quarterly summaries in a timely manner.
Educate referral community on when it is appropiate to refer to Promises Austin and overall efficacy of drug rehab programs.
Work collaboratively with clinical staff to ensure consistent delivery of service. Communicated frequently with VP, therapists and admission staff to meet or exceed service expectations.
Monitor, evaluate, and report referral trends, utlization and referral source/customer satisfaction.
Reports any operational issues to operations team to ensure outstanding client/customer service. Initiates complaint resolution plan and reviews with VP and program staff. Places plan into action, when necessary. Follows up on internal and external problems to ensure rapid solutions.
Maintain customer relationship database utilizing salesforce.com, that documents marketing strategies, comp! leted needs assessments, contacts completed, future call objectives and relevant notes.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of three years of sales experience.
Bachelor Degree preferred.
Track record of meeting or exceeding weekly sales quotas.
Confident and effective public speaker.
Ability to work without close supervision.
Working knowledge of 12 step program.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Sufficient technical competency to use CRM software and all Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in substance abuse field, healthcare or insurance industries a plus.
