The Clinical Directorsupervises and provides clinical consultation to Treatment Specialists andstudent interns. In certain cases, based on the special needs of the children served, position may be gender specific.
Essential duties andresponsibilities include the following
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Manages caseload assignments for clinical department.
Provides day to day functional and clinical supervision to Treatment Specialists.
Provides daily supervision of Psychology Associate and serves as liais! on with consulting psychologist.
Acts as liaison with! consulting Psychiatrist and directs their scheduling while holding them accountable for their contractual requirements.
Provides weekly, formal direction and supervision to clinical staff regarding client needs.
Coordinates and supervises clinical interns for residential program.
Oversees team meetings and doctors rounds.
Oversee Clinical Schedule for treatment services on and off campus
Oversee Treatment plan schedule and on-going services to clients.
Acts as liaison with Program Director and other Directors serving the residential program to enhance relationship between clinical and residential staff.
Provides clinical guidance to Residential Supervisors and Residential staff to assist them in understanding clients needs/diagnoses and enhance therapeutic skills.
Maintains and supervises diagnostic assessment schedule to ensure compliance with timelines required by State regulation and program policy.!
Provides/coordinates training on clinical topics for residential treatment staff trainings.
Coordinates Therapist On-Call schedule for programs.
Reviews and provides feedback on written reports for clinical departments.
Supervises initial and quarterly client case record review process to ensure case record compliance.
Ensures client data is entered into the state client information system, Childrens Services Outcome Measurement System (CSOMS) on a consistent and timely basis, consistent with licensing requirements.
Serves in Administrator On-Call rotation.
Attends trainings and meetings as required.
Shares/transmits the mission and vision of Arrow Child & Family Ministries to staff and to clients and families served.
Review client files on a quarterly basis to access service plan implementation, progress towards desired outcomes, and future appropriateness of service plan.
Perform al! l duties within contract, state and federal regulations, Arrow policy, ! and COA standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Thisposition directly supervises staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Arrow Child& Family Ministries policies, State and Federal laws and policy andprocedures. Responsibilities includeinterviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, anddirecting work; appraising performance including coaching and futureperformance development; managers training needs through learning managementsystem; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints andresolving problems. Maintain quality improvement goals and address at regularlyscheduled staff meetings.
Qualifications

Education, Licensure and/orExperience
Due to various Stateregulations, the following may be required; Licensed Psychologist or MastersDegree in Social Work or related field and licensure (LCSW-C, LCSW, LCPC, LCP). At least three (3) years of experienceworking with children in the child welfare industry and one (1) year of progressivesupervisory and administrative experience. Residential Child Care Program Administrator certification preferred. Ifnot currently certified, the Clinical Director may be expected to obtaincertification within 18 months of hire. Trauma informed certified such as TBRImay be required based on state regulations
Languageskills
Ability to read andcomprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to communicate effectively bothverbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals in! side andoutside the ministry.
Mathematicalskills
Ability t! o apply basicmathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportionsto practical solutions.
Reasoningability
Ability to apply common senseunderstanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations withoccasional variables.
OtherRequirements
Mustsubmit to and pass a pre-employment drug test.
Mustsubmit to and pass random drug tests during employment.
Mustsuccessfully pass all background screens as required by the state.
Must receive a minimum of 30hours of initial and annual training.
Must be 21 years of age orolder.
