Responsible for evaluating and providing psychiatric-nursing services to patients suffering from late-life depression. Utilizing strong and precise decision making and judgment skills. Conduct weekly visits with patients to evaluate medications, conduct counseling sessions and address needs. Providing timely and accurate documentation of the patient’s status with strong attention to detail. Work closely and in conjunction with members of the interdisciplinary team in weekly case conferences to ensure patient is cared for both physically and mentally to achieve the best outcomes. Provide consultation to physicians, psychiatrist, psychologist and other health care providers regarding plan of care.
