Due to expansion and growth, we are seeking mental healthcare professionals for both full-time and/or part-time positions throughout the state of Texas! You’ll work a flexible schedule with an established patient base providing evaluations, psychiatric management and mental healthcare services to the Geriatric community in a nursing home and assisted living setting. You’ll travel to nursing homes and assisted living facilities in the assigned geographic region as well as work emergencies, PRN, as needed. However, you will not be asked to work any nights or weekends and there is very minimal on-call (telephone only). This multi-disciplinary team realizes that older adults have special physical, emotional, and social needs. Understanding this, the geriatric midlevel, with a team of physicians and psychotherapists (LCSW, LPC, PhD/PsyD), takes a comprehensive approach to diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements: Must have a Degree/Accreditation as a Nurse Practitioner, with either Psychiatric certification or experience in Psychiatry (preferred but not required), a strong interest in Geriatric care, active and clear TX license and DPS/DEA preferred. Medicare/Medicaid a PLUS. New grads are welcome, but you must be a PMHNP.
