The Emergency Care Services Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy to counseling clients in keeping with the agency mission; participates in clinical staffing, CounselingCenter administration and development duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Thera! py:
Providing the agreed upon number of clinical hours! .
Will provide Individual therapy and group therapy, as needed.
Representing the standards and practices of therapeutic counseling.
Maintaining clinical records in keeping with Agency policies and procedures.
Working with administrative staff to set and collect appropriate fees.
Clinical Staff Participation:
Working cooperatively on treatment team with Casemanager, Caseworker, Direct Care Staff, Psychiatrist, and respective School Personnel.
Working cooperatively with staff colleagues, consultants, and referring Professionals
Actively participating in clinical staffings and case consultations.
Attending administrative staff meetings, staff retreats, and other team building activities.
Center Administrative and Development:
Participating in the development of the Agencyâs referral network.
Performing administrative and development tasks as assigned.
Participating in the Agencyâs training programs! of education, consultation, and community relations.
Will provide on-call coverage, as assigned by Supervisors
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is required . Graduation from an accredited college or university with a masterâs or doctorâs degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or equivalent.
Clinical training and experience, validated by certification or licensure by the groups corresponding to their fields, and/or full state licensure in psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, counseling or medicine.
Master of a coherent theory and practice of psychotherapy. Must have Trauma informed certification. Must have active Medicaid #.
