Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) is one of the largest integrated health care systems in the Department of Veterans Affairs and includes facilities in Temple, Waco, and Austin, TX. This position is located in Temple, Texas, and provides urgent care to our Veteran patients. The duties may include but not limited to the following:
which may include patients requesting/requiring care from medical/surgical, psychiatry and substance abuse
Duty hours are established daytime shifts. This may include early evening hours.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a citizen of the United States.
Must have a degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
Must be proficient in spoken and written English as required by 38 U.S.C 7402(d) and 7407(d).
Must have a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
Must have completed a first-year residency, or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs for the year in which it was completed.
Preferred Experience
1. Three years of residency training.
2. Board certification in a medical specialty.
