Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Description: Cook Children's Medical Center is in need of Clinical Therapist right now, this career will be placed in Texas. Provide family therapy, cognitive supportive therapy and crisis intervention services. Triage services for further mental health interventions ! may be recommended and coordinated by this worker. The primary treatment group will include patients, families and/or their caregivers. This position will serve as a liaison between the department of Psychiatry and other medical specialties to allow for continuity of care.
QUALIFICATIONS: Masters degree in Social Work or related field required. Experience in Family, Individual, Group, and Play therapy required. Hospital experience preferred. Pediatric experience required. Child growth and development education required. Licensed by State of Texas: LMSW, LCSW, or LPC. C.P.R. and C.P.I.
This clinical therapist will serve the Hematology patients. The clinical therapist will facilitate the hematology patient medical treatment compliance.
