Regional Director, Medical Research Specialist

Location: West, Texas

Serving as a key extension of our Clinical Research and Medical Affairs teams, the Regional Medical Scientist will act as a company fiel! d-based clinical and medical expert responsible for communicating scientifically-based information and gaining insights in support of company products.
The RMS will develop and maintain long-term, peer-to-peer relationships with existing study investigators and medical experts in the fields of psychiatry and neurology. Through peer-to-peer scientific and medical exchange, the RMS will identify barriers and recommend solutions to clinical trial execution, development strategy and medical activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Collect intelligence through scientific and medical exchange with clinical investigators and medical experts and provide relevant information to company in order to impact clinical trial strategies and improve medical insights.
• Conduct outreach to assigned clinical investigators and medical experts.
• Prepare for and present study information
• Collect medical and scientific insights to inform clinical tri! al development and medical strategies.
• Attend medical! /scientific meetings and prepare executive summaries on information of strategic interest to Client.
• Field-based position. Local, and regional and national travel up to 70%

Job Requirements

• MD, PhD, PharmD, DO or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical or scientific expertise in psychiatry or neurology
• 2+ years pharmaceutical experience, preferably in a medical or clinical field-based role
