Meier Clinics is a not-for-profit, Christian, mental health counseling ministry with locations coast-to-coast. We have been “One of the most trusted names in Christian counseling†since 1976. We currently provide care to al l ages in our outpatient clinic and have a Day Program for adults and an Intensive Outpatient Program for men's sexual addiction. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide diagnostic evaluations and follow-up medication management in an outpatient setting and in our partial hospital program.
- Detail to correct and prompt charting, staying current on diagnoses and CPT coding, working with insurance companies as needed, and other routine medical responsibilities.
- If MD, able and willing to supervise a nurse practitioner and/or a physician assistant.
- If APRN, attending monthly supervision meetings and review of charts.
- Full-time position M-F with 1-2 evenings/week and 1 Saturday/month.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have current State of Texas license.
- Must have minimum of one year psychiatric experien ce in hospital or outpatient setting.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are already on insurance panels and those who are bi-lingual (English/Spanish/Cantonese).
- An individual who enjoys working independently as well as in a team environment.
