Acadia Healthcare in Abilene, Texas, is seeking aPsychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantfor a full-time position. We provide evaluations,psychiatric management and mental healthcareservices to the surrounding community and offerinpatient and outpatient services. Understandingthis, the NP/PA, with a team of psychiatrists takesa comprehensive approach to diagnosis andtreatment.
This employee will perform mentalhealth intake examinations and diagnose mentalhealth disorders, prescribe psychotropic medicationand other treatment, develop a follow-up plan,maintain continuity of care and actively participatein the performance improvement process.Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner ORPsychiatric Physician AssistantRequirements: Must have a Degree/Accreditation as a Nurse Practitioner orPhysician Assistant, with Psychiatric certification or experience in Psychiatry,active and clear TX license and DPS/DEA preferred. Medicare/Medicaid a PLUS.New grads are welcome, but if you are a NP you must be a PMHNP or if you area PA you must have clinical rotations in psychiatry.Acadia Healthcare offers an excellent compensation plan, including fullbenefits.
