The salary range for this position is: $22.50-$25 per hour
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- This position can be located nationwide, you must be able to accept donor calls and respond to donor cases from 8:30am – 5:30pm ET, Monday – Friday from a quiet, private workspace.
- Provide support to donors related to charitable donations (refunds, receipts, , etc.).
- Provide excellent customer service to our donors, resolve and troubleshoot concerns related to financial gifts, and escalate complex problems.

Respond to general inquiries by phone or in writing, providing prompt resolution to
donor issues or route requests to appropriate departments. - Research account histories: verify that donations are recorded properly; troubleshoot and escalate, as needed.
- Draft correspondence to a donor to resolve issues, collect information, and provide resolution.
- Take the steps to process refunds, update records, or take donations as appropriate.

Document, and track questions and/or problems in order to identify possible trends or
systems issues. Escalate issues/concerns, as appropriate - Navigate multiple platforms and CRMs to research donor issues.
- Provide excellent donor support and provide excellent customer service to donors.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: High School or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Management Experience: NA
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work to meet customer expectations.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain collaborative work relationships within the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Proficient with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to work on a team.
Travel: Some travel may be required.
Essential Functions/Physical Requirements:
- Depending on work assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of up to 20 pounds.

Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information. Overall mobility is essential. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle and working under challenging conditions.
Work Conditions: Work is performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to emergency services relief work. May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state and Red Cross system. Because the Red Cross is a disaster response organization, staff may be asked to be on 24-hour call during period of major disaster.
