Description: Ambulatory Surgery is in need of Court Liaison - Psychiatric Services - FT Days Weekdays right now, this position will be assigned in Texas. Will serve as a liaison between the mental illness court attorneys and the patients who have commitment procedures pending, between the hospital staff and / or patients regarding legal issues involving the mental illness courts, between the treatment managers and the psychiatrists regarding court issuesResponsible for filing and tracking all legal documents in the mental illness courts of the seven NorthSTAR countiesWill submit statistical analysis and trends of the mental health courts to the administration of Green Oaks HospitalWill provide all pertinent information on the transportation of committed patients to the business office of Green Oaks HospitalWill provide liaison services to the Dallas County Mental Illness Court at Green Oaks HospitalWill adheres to hospital policies and proceduresDemonstrates and understanding of and adherence to the Code of Conduct and will reflect the Company’s values and commitment to the Code of ConductWill perform other duties as requested or requiredMust have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from a nationally accredited schoolMust be a licensed provider in Social Work or similarMust have recent inpatient experience working with all patient populations in an acute care hospitalMust have excellent communication skills in both oral and written formatMust have the flexibility to intervene on a moment’s notice Must have the proven ability to problem solve, and seek assistance from appropriate community agencies as necessary and essential
