Detailed specification about this position opportunity please read the description below. Primary Care Psychologist Texas A&M College of Medicine Scott & White Healthcare

Texas A&M and Scott & White Healthcare in Temple, TX, is adding an additional primary care psychologist to one of its clinics. The psychologist would work in a Department of Family Medicine clinic, reporting to the lead psychologist. The psychologist would be a faculty member in a psychology internship program, and work in clinic with residents in Family Medicine. Licensed Psychologist required; 3 years post license experience in diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental health disorders required.

Texas Psychologist licensure preferred; 3 years experience in both mental health and medical settings; experience with children and adolescents; multidisciplinary team experience preferred, military related PTSD experience.

• Excellent diagnostic skills required and research-based treatment approaches for the care of a wide range of mental health issues.

Candidates must have a working knowlege of psychopharmacology and be comfortable collaborating with primary care providers.

The primary Scott & White facility is a 636-bed Level I Trauma acute care facility in Temple.
