The Clinical Assistant! II performs basic patient care activities to patients in assigned area
Responsibilities:
Assists with treatments ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN)
Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living
Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff
Assists with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Six (6) months of experience in a related position or completion of one semester of nursing clinicals is required
Licenses & Certifications:
Department specific certification may be required
Must obtain CPR certification through the American Heart Association within one (1) month of hire
